9th Class Position Holders 2026
This page lists the official 9th class position holders 2026 across all Pakistani boards, organised by province. Details are inserted the moment each board publishes its merit notification — until then, this page shows the expected announcement schedule and the process boards follow to identify toppers.
How position holders are determined
Each board ranks candidates by total marks obtained in the annual examination (supplementary results are not counted). In case of a tie, boards apply a documented tie-breaker sequence: marks in Mathematics, then English, then Urdu, then age (younger candidate wins). Only regular candidates are eligible for merit positions — private candidates are listed separately.
2026 announcement schedule
Punjab boards will announce top positions on 2 September 2026 alongside the main result. KPK boards typically follow between 25 August and 5 September 2026. Sindh boards release toppers in September 2026. AKU-EB publishes its national merit list separately in August 2026.
Punjab — Top 9th Class Positions 2026
Punjab position holders are announced by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) alongside the annual result. Top three positions in each of the nine BISEs, plus the overall Punjab merit list, are released on the same day.

KPK — Top 9th Class Positions 2026
KPK position holders are announced by each of the eight boards independently on result day, followed by a consolidated provincial merit list released by the KP Education Department a few days later.

Sindh — Top 9th Class Positions 2026
Sindh boards announce top positions per board on result day; a unified provincial merit list is compiled after all seven boards declare their results. AKU-EB releases its own separate national toppers list.
