The 9th class annual date sheet 2026 is issued by each board 4–6 weeks before exams begin. Punjab boards use a single unified date sheet under PBCC; KPK and Sindh boards publish their own. 9th Class Pairing Scheme 2026
The pairing scheme (assessment scheme) tells you how each subject's paper is distributed across chapters, and which chapters carry MCQs, short questions and long questions. Focus your revision on high-weightage chapters — typically the first 4–5 units carry the bulk of long-answer marks.
Mathematics (Punjab)
- Unit 1 (Matrices): 1 MCQ, 1 short question
- Unit 2 (Real & Complex Numbers): 2 MCQs, 1 short, 1 long (choice)
- Unit 3 (Logarithms): 1 MCQ, 1 short
- Unit 4 (Algebraic Expressions): 2 MCQs, 2 shorts, 1 long
- Unit 6 (Factorisation): 1 MCQ, 1 short, 1 long
- Units 7–17: distributed MCQs + one long question from geometry chapters
Physics (Science Group)
- Ch 1–3: heavy MCQ + one long numerical
- Ch 4–6: most-tested chapters — 2 long questions typical
- Ch 7–9: shorter questions, occasional long
English & Urdu
Compulsory papers follow the model paper published by the board — expect one unseen passage, one translation question, one letter/application, and grammar-based MCQs.
Admit Card & Exam Day Rules
- Collect your admit card (roll number slip) from your school 3–4 days before the first paper.
- Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes early — gates close 10 minutes before the paper starts.
- Carry a transparent geometry box, at least two blue/black ballpoints, and your ID card.
- Mobile phones, smart watches and Bluetooth devices are strictly prohibited.
