Introduction & Important Alerts
You will receive a message from the number 8171 on behalf of the Benazir Income Support Program, informing you that your funds have arrived in your account. After receiving this, you can visit your nearest BISP office to collect the money.
Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Rahim. Assalamu Alaikum. Welcome to the YouTube channel “Search For You.” Two major pieces of good news have arrived for all of you in the month of April, especially regarding the Benazir Program. Additionally, the government is about to launch three new schemes. We will discuss these new schemes and provide complete details regarding BISP installments in this video.
Current Installments & The April 15th Deadline
Installments are currently being distributed, and there is a lot of rush at the payment centers. We will identify two specific types of families who are receiving money right now. If you belong to these categories, you can collect your funds today.
Important Note: You must collect this installment before April 15th. After April 15th, you will not be able to get this money because the government is introducing a completely new system. The old system is being phased out. Under the old “agent system,” any funds remaining in accounts after April 15th will be returned to the national treasury.
New Families & Advance Payments
Currently, BISP has included approximately 1 million to 1.5 million (10-15 lakh) new families. These newly eligible families are being issued a new installment of 14,500 PKR as an advance payment. Please note that since these families are receiving this money in advance, they will not receive the next upcoming regular installment.
This applies to those whose status on the 8171 portal showed they were registered in the Dynamic Registry but were waiting for eligibility. In addition to these new families, old beneficiaries are also receiving installments (around 1,300 PKR or arrears).
The Digital Wallet System & SIM Cards
The payment system is undergoing a complete transformation. You may have heard about the Digital Wallet System. BISP has started issuing free “Wallet SIMs.”
Where to get the SIM: You can get these from the government centers where BISP payments were previously made, or from the main BISP Tehsil Registration Office.
How it works: You do not need to create a separate bank, Easypaisa, or JazzCash account. An official wallet account is automatically activated when you receive the SIM. After April 15th, new installments will only be available to those who have these Wallet SIMs.
Upcoming April Installment & Education Scholarships
A new installment of 14,500 PKR for all eligible families is scheduled to begin in the second week of April.
Educational Scholarships (Wazifa): If your children’s scholarship money was missing, partial, or delayed in the previous installment, all those arrears will be included and paid out with this new April installment.
Good News for Disqualified (Na-Ahal) Individuals
If you were disqualified because you didn’t complete a Dynamic Survey, or if you were still labeled “not eligible” after a survey, April brings a big opportunity:
Survey Restoration: The survey process, which was paused for a month or two, will resume on April 15th. You can visit the office to update your survey.
System Activation: The Digital Wallet system will also go live after April 15th, making payments more secure.
