If you are a beneficiary of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) or the Kafalat Program, there is great news for you. The Government of Pakistan has released new updates for 2026, including changes in payments, children’s stipends, and a new digital system.
Increase in Kafalat Program Payment
Previous installment: Rs. 13,500
Increased to: Rs. 14,500
Latest update:
👉 Some beneficiaries are receiving up to Rs. 19,500
📌 Important Note:
This increase is not permanent. In many cases, the higher amount includes children’s educational stipends, which makes the total appear larger.
Children’s Educational Stipends (Important Clarification)
Separate education stipends for children are being provided
If you receive Rs. 19,500 or more, it may include:

Kafalat payment: Rs. 14,500
Children’s stipends: Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 5,000+
