The two main programs people are talking about are:
Punjab Nigehban Ramzan Package 2026 (CM Maryam Nawaz) – Rs 10,000 cash + ration
Federal PM Ramzan Relief Package 2026 (9999 / BISP-linked) – Rs 10,000–13,500 cash + ration support

1. Punjab Nigehban Ramzan Package 2026 – CM Maryam Nawaz Program
Budget: Rs 47 billion (biggest ever in Punjab)
Beneficiaries: 4.2 million (42 lakh) deserving families – reaching nearly 1 crore people
Main Benefits:
- Rs 10,000 cash per eligible family (direct to Nigehban Card)
- Free ration bag (flour, rice, sugar, ghee/oil, dates, pulses etc.) – door-to-door or utility stores
- Maryam ke Mehman Dastarkhwan: 8 centers per tehsil – free iftari for ~2,000 people daily
- Sasta Bazaars: 65+ bazaars converted into Ramadan/Eid bazaars with low prices
Eligibility (Punjab Only)
- Punjab domicile
- Monthly family income below Rs 45,000
- Valid CNIC
- Priority: Widows, disabled, daily wagers, laborers, Rashan Card holders (auto-included with Rs 10,000 monthly aid)
How to Check & Register (Online & SMS)
- SMS Check (Fastest): Send CNIC (without dashes) to 8070

→ Reply shows eligibility, card delivery status, cash date - Online Check: Visit pser.punjab.gov.pk → Enter CNIC → See status
- Registration: Mostly automatic via PSER data & Rashan Card. No big new online form yet. If needed, visit local Union Council or Tehsil office.
- Card Delivery: Ongoing door-to-door – if not received, check 8070 or call 0800-02345
2. Federal PM Ramzan Relief Package 2026 (9999 / BISP-linked)
Beneficiaries: Up to 1.4 crore poorest families nationwide
Benefits:
- Rs 10,000–13,500 cash per family (many getting Rs 13,500 quarterly in Jan–Mar 2026 cycle)
- Subsidized ration (flour, sugar, ghee, rice, dates) via utility stores/digital vouchers
- Digital transfer to mobile wallet (Easypaisa, JazzCash) – no queues
Eligibility
- Low-income families (BISP/Ehsaas registered get priority)
- Widows, orphans, daily wagers, disabled, laborers
- CNIC-linked mobile number (preferably woman head)

Registration: Mostly automatic for BISP/Ehsaas members. New people: Visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office or wait for NSER survey team. No dedicated online form yet.

Important Tips for Both Packages
- Only use official SMS codes (8070 Punjab, 8171/9999 Federal) – avoid scams
- No fees or agents – completely free
- Keep mobile number linked to CNIC – payments go there
- Rashan Card holders often auto-included in Punjab package
- Check both 8070 and 8171 – many families can get both federal + provincial aid
This is the biggest relief effort in recent years – Punjab and Federal governments are working together to make Ramadan easier for millions.
